Our Management Team
Edward M. Leonard, President and Chief Executive Officer, founded Electronic Scriptorium in 1991 and takes an active role in the success of the firm. He has served as a commissioned officer in the US Coast Guard and held key executive positions at Dun & Bradstreet and Everex Systems, Inc. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Michigan University and holds a TRIUM international MBA degree (Honors) jointly awarded by the London School of Economics, NYU’s Stern School of Business and Hautes Etudes Commerciales, Paris.
Brett Ann Leonard, Chief Financial Officer, holds a bachelor's of science degree from Eastern Michigan University. She has a strong background in finance and previously operated her own healthcare and education consulting firm for six years. For ES clients, Brett manages all issues related to invoicing, payments and other contract administration.
Bill McKinney, Director of Information Services, holds an MS degree in information science from the University of Tennessee and a second MS in logistics administration from Georgia College. Bill served as a commissioned officer in the US Air Force where he achieved the rank of lieutenant colonel before retiring. As Director of Information Services, Bill translates each client’s requirements into specific conversion tasks for the ES staff, whom he trains and supervises. His overall responsibility is to see each project through to a successful conclusion.
Martha Baine, Cataloging Project Manager, holds an MLS from Texas Women’s University and an MA in Sociology from Case Western Reserve. Martha offers over 15 years of direct experience as a professional librarian and cataloging expert. Martha provides professional guidance and oversight of ES cataloging staff.
Tamar Donovan, Metadata Project Manager, holds an MLS from the University of Maryland. Tamar provides direct management of metadata and information project services including metadata design, taxonomy and thesaurus implementation & development and controlled vocabulary services.
